FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I insist that I must get you a gift, what would you like?

We know everyone is traveling to celebrate with us, and we’re super grateful for that!

Gifts are totally optional, but if you insist, a monetary contribution to our honeymoon would be a dream come true. We’ve also set up a gift list here: [link].

Can I bring my children?

As much as we adore your little ones, we’re keeping this celebration adults-only. Think of it as a mini-vacation for you! Our kids will be at some of the festivities, but we’ve hired a couple of awesome staff from Annie and Nolan’s nursery to keep them entertained. So, go ahead and enjoy some grown-up time!

What is the dress code?

It’s a wedding, folks! Time to get fancy! Dust off those dancing shoes and put on your best attire.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Mark your calendars for May 10, 2026!

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP right here on this website (see the top of the page), or shoot Katie a text at 07745 361782 or drop her an email at katieburt87@gmail.com.

How do I get there?

Church Address: St Joseph’s Church, 26 Abbey Water, Romsey SO51 8EJ

Venue Address: Gambledown Farm, Gambledown, Romsey SO51 6JU

Romsey has its own train station with direct lines from Southampton and Salisbury.

Can I stay at the wedding venue?

Yes you can and we’d love you to! Our venue has 4 fabulous glamping tents that can fit 6 of your closest friends (or your snoring cousin). They cost £400 for two nights, and we also have two self-catering barn conversions that sleep 8 and 6. We’d love for you to join us, so feel free to share those tents—after all, we’re all friends here!

Just a little note: Katie & Dave have already reserved the on-site accommodations, so shoot Katie a message to discuss your options.

Is there parking at the church and Gambledown farm?

Yes!

There’s free on-road parking outside the church, plus several pay-and-display car parks nearby.

There is plenty of parking at the farm, and we'll have taxi numbers available for anyone who wants to leave their car overnight if they're not staying on site.

Can I bring a +1?

If your invite doesn’t say +1, then probably not. But hey, it never hurts to ask Katie and try your luck!

Is there a plan for Friday and Sunday as well?

Absolutely! On Friday, join us for ‘Pizza in the Barn’ at Gambledown Farm.

We’ll kick things off at 6 PM, and it’s all about a relaxed evening filled with pizza, snacks, and drinks.

On Sunday, we’re likely planning a brunch in Romsey for some goodbyes before everyone heads home. Stay tuned for details!

Is Gambledown Farm accessible?

Yes, it is! The venue is a working farm with gravel paths, so it’s wheelchair accessible with a little extra muscle.

What will the weather be like?

It’s October in the UK, so it’s anyone’s guess! We’re hoping for sunshine, but we’ll be ready for rain too. No need to buy a fancy mac; we’ve got you covered inside!

Are you going to set up a photo app so we can put photos from the weekend on?

Wedshoots -https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/wedshoots/id660256196

Can I request a song for the party?

All requests should be made on the RSVP form and we'll decide if they are a banger and in or a dud and out
